6/16 Troop Meeting Franklin Methodist Church 7:00 – 8:30pm This meeting will be used to finalize meal plans, duty rosters and boat pairing for kayak trip. There will be a demo on what to pack in your day pack for the trip and games. Scout Master Conferences and Boards of Review upon request. If you are attending scout camp over the summer and have not returned medical forms and payment, these can be given to Mrs. Baird at this meeting.

6/27- Eagle Court of Honor – Franklin Methodist Church 5:00 – 6:00pm Please join Justin Winiker and Danny Halloran who have reached the rank of Eagle Scout. Set up time is 3:00. All are invited but we ask that masks be worn indoors and families sit together.
Upcoming Trips/Activities
6/18-6/20 – Washburn Island Kayaking
Departure will be from the Franklin VFW Hall Friday June 18th. Meet at the VFW normal time 5PM for a 5:30PM departure. We will be staying at Shawme Crowell State Park in Sandwich, MA . Saturday morning we will travel to Falmouth and launch kayaks for a day trip around Waquoit Bay and Washburn Island. We will return to Shawme Crowell Saturday afternoon/evening TBD. Sunday we will arrive back in Franklin approximately 10AM

7/18-7/24 – Camp Yawgoog- Summer Camp We would be in the Sandy Beaches camp in campsite Norman Rockwell. This is a great opportunity for older scouts to try a new camp experience as well as earn merit badges that have not been traditionally offered at Squanto. For new scouts, there is great program called New Frontier. Scouts can drop into the sessions and learn many of the skills that they will need in order to progress from Scout through First Class.
Reminder: Anyone going to Summer Camp that we need Health Forms A, B, C and final payment ($440) by June 15th.
