4/28 Troop Meeting –Franklin Methodist Church 7:00 – 8:30pm Meeting will include backpacking trip preparations and demo. Games and other activities to follow.
5/5 PLC & Committee Meeting – Virtual – meeting info will be shared at a later time. PLC (6:30 – 7:30). Committee Meeting (7:30 – 8:30). All adults are encouraged to attend the committee meeting.

Leave Saturday am, with one night camping at Treasury Valley $15.00 Backpacking with approximately 5.5 miles in and 5 miles out. Hike to Sampson’s pebble on way to camp. Please sign up below as soon a possible so that planning can begin.

Volunteer Opportunity
The Town of Franklin is looking for volunteers to assist with Earth Day Clean up on April 25th from 9-12. Mr. Apicella has pre-approved this event to count towards Scout’s service hours as long as they are not trying to count towards another organization (like High School) and they can provide evidence that they were there (event says they will issue certificates). This is a good way to earn 3 hours of community service towards rank advancement. Scouts are asked to wear their yellow class b shirts while participating (try to work together in groups) to help provide visibility to the troop as well.
