2/28 Eagle Court of Honor 4:00 -5:00pm– Virtual Ceremony
All Families are encouraged to attend to honor Matthew Parrella who has reached Eagle Rank. The Ceremony will be via Zoom. Attendee information is below. If you are a participant in the ceremony, you will receive a separate email with instructions.

Upcoming Trips/Activities

3/7 – Cross Country Skiing – Weston Ski Track (Leo J Martin Golf Course). Leaving Franklin at approximately 2:00 with a return about 6:00pm. Approximate costs will be shared at a later time.

4/9-4/11 – Camp Squanto – Biking and Tenderfoot Weekend
Departure will be from the Franklin VFW Hall at 5:30pm Friday April 9th. Scouts should arrive at 5:00pm to the VFW hall to help prepare the Troop and their Patrols for departure. On Sunday morning we will then return to the VFW Hall at approximately 10:30am. Location Camp Squanto in Plymouth. We will split the troop between Delaware and Penobscot campsites (12 people each).
Saturday activities :Bike Riding in Myles Standish Forest and Tenderfoot Weekend (Advancement focus will be for new Scouts as well as Scouts who have not earned Tenderfoot yet).
All new Scouts are highly encouraged to attend.
Scouts will need their own Bikes/Helmets. We will also need some parents to ride along (not everyone needs to bike).
We ask that each new Scout have 1 parent attend for their first camping trip. We may have extra tents/camping gear available to borrow if that is an issue (please inquire if needed).
At this time BSA is still mandating 1 scout per tent (exception for siblings), however we will update if this changes.
