Popcorn Show and Sells – The Troop will be selling popcorn as its primary fundraiser for the year so full participation is required of all scouts.  For the show & sells, there are enough time slots for every scout to work 2 slots.  In addition each time slot requires 1 adult to be signed up.  Sign up Now!

As a reminder all activity sign-ups are now online, signed release forms and payment will still need to be handed in at the troop meetings or given to Mr. Klawson when required.  To Access all Troop 29 Current Sign Ups list and Information:  All Troop Sign Ups

Eagle Project:    Sunday August 21  from 10am – 12pm 

Come help at Kinley Baird’s Eagle Scout project this weekend on Sunday August 21, from 10am -12pm,  at the Franklin VFW.   We will be reconstructing a staircase and pulling up existing plants growing in the mulch bed out front. Dress appropriately and bring gloves if possible.  Hours will count for community service hours for any badges or school requirements.  If you have any questions you can contact Kinley at kinley.baird@gmail.com.

Popcorn is Coming!!! – The Troop will be selling popcorn this fall as one of our fund raising efforts.  All the details will be coming soon.  We have MANY dates for show and sells.  Sign Ups coming shortly!

Its almost time to begin the Scouting year… 

Mark your calendar now for this year’s Troop events.  Although we try to avoid changes, as we go through the year, some of the events or dates could shift, so please read the weekly Troop News for the most update date information.   2016-2017 Calendar

Some additional information on Troop Meetings:

• Patrol Leaders’ Council (PLC) meeting is held on the on the 1^st Wednesday of each month (September through June), at 6:30pm in the BFCCPS auditorium.

• Troop Committee Meeting (TCM) meeting is immediately following PLC from 7:30 – 8:30pm 1^st Wed of each month. Planning and updates from small support groups are made at this meeting.

• Troop Meetings are held on all other Wednesday evenings, from 7:00pm to 8:30pm and are held at BFCCPS, 201 Main Street, in the auditorium unless otherwise noted. No meetings are held on school holidays and vacation weeks. No meetings are held on no-school snow days called by the Franklin School Dept.
