4/12/14:   Troop Spaghetti Dinner (fund raiser) 6pm @ Franklin United Methodist Church.   Scouts will be providing service related items to be auctioned off.   Tickets will be $5/person with a cap of $20 per immediate family.     Troop families please  bring a desert to share.

A great time for scouts to earn merit badges and get to know their fellow scouts and we are looking for parent volunteers.

Troop News 3/24/14

We have snow on the radar again this week…   If Franklin schools are cancelled on Wed, the troop meeting will also be cancelled.

3/26:  Troop Meeting.  
  • Scouts – Planning for the upcoming Spaghetti Dinner on April 12 will be done at this week’s troop meeting, so it’s imperative that all patrol leaders and scouts attend. All scouts will be assigned a job to prepare for the Dinner. All scouts are expected to attend the Spaghetti Dinner and all families are highly encouraged to attend.
  • Welcome new scouts and families that have crossed over from Pack 99.
  • Please bring permission slips for the upcoming trips.    This is the last troop meeting to sign up for Smith & Wesson Tour.
  • Plan on purchasing tickets to the Spaghetti Dinner.

Troop News 3/17/14

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Cronin family.  Mr. Cronin’s mother passed away on Friday night. She had been in a hospice from most of the last week after being admitted to hospital with significant levels cancer. She was 82. The wake is planned for Tuesday  4-8pm at Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn.

Troop News 3/10/14

There are a number of new announcements this week….
3/12:  Troop Meeting.  
  • Please bring permission slips for Catchalot, Smith & Wesson and our new outing – Fishin’ Impossible.
  • Plan on purchasing tickets to the Spaghetti Dinner.
  • Welcome new scouts and their parents that are joining Troop 29 from Packs 126 and 92.
  • If your scout would like to complete the Citizenship in the Nation merit badge at the Troop’s Merit Badge Weekend (3/21-3/23), please be prepared to sign up at the this Troop meeting.  Materials will be ready for the scouts that sign up.  An additional class on 4/9, at 6:00pm, will also be held to complete the requirements.
